Job Opening: Part-Time Organist
Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church | Ripon, WI
Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon, Wisconsin, is seeking a part-time Organist to provide musical leadership for Sunday worship and seasonal services.
Schedule:
One Sunday morning worship service per week, plus seasonal services (e.g., Advent, Lent, Holy Week, Christmas Eve). No choir accompaniment or midweek rehearsals.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated proficiency in organ performance
- Strong sight-reading skills
- Ability to support congregational singing with appropriate registration and volume
- Collaborative and reliable
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Music degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in a church or liturgical worship setting
- Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, Lutheran worship traditions
