Communion Schedule – effective July 6
The Food of God for the People of God
On the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month, Communion will be served to all those who are in attendance at the outdoor service. Sealed bags with individual communion cups will be shared with each car leaving the parking lot. Feel free to ask us and take additional communion for other family members.
We will also be offering Drive Thru Communion on the 2nd & 4th Sundays of every month from 2 to 4 pm. Please enter the parking lot from South Grove Street and drive to the Preschool/Sunday School wing entrance.
Individual sealed communion cups will be blessed and provided for as many people as are in the car. You may request additional servings for family members at home. The cups will be brought to the car in sealed bags.
Church services and all Church activities are cancelled in accordance with state Safer-at-Home guidelines. During this time, congregation members are encouraged to be in contact with other members of the Church family.
A Zoom subscription for video conferencing has been secured by the Church for use in all aspects of our Church life. Circles, committees and small fellowship groups are encouraged to contact the office for login information. Please visit our contact page or call (920) 748-5433 during office hours.
Currently we are posting taped services and messages here. We are also posting on Facebook (Ripon Grace Lutheran Church) page and we are uploading them to YouTube. We are sending the link to the YouTube videos in an email to Congregation members. If you wish to be added to this email list, please send your email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Messages will be archived in YouTube – so check there if there’s something you missed.
We are attempting to stay up to date with State and Federal rulings and will keep in touch with you as well.
Video of the announcements will be posted here and on Facebook each week. We will also do our best to archive all the messages, sermons, and announcements for viewing later.
Please check back often for updates for all activities
Sharing Table is suspended until further notice. Please check back for restart date.

…grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.2 Peter 3:18
The above Bible verse, along with our vision statement — Gather, Grow, and Go in Grace — inspires us and what we do here at Grace Lutheran.
Whether you are a long-time member of Grace Lutheran or a first-time visitor, and no matter from where you are coming, we recognize God equally loves and equally values all God’s people. God has given special talents and gifts to you and every person who enters through our doors.

Dear Members of Grace Lutheran Church
As we join with the rest of our state and nation in seeking to do what we can to help lower unnecessary exposure to the coronavirus (COVID-19), we have decided upon the following:
Programming for Children & Youth: Following our long-standing policy of not holding classes and other activities for our children and youth when local schools are cancelled, we will be suspending all of our youth and children’s programming for the rest of March. This includes, but is not limited to, Sunday School, Confirmation, and Youth Ministry and first Communion Instruction. These decisions are effective immediately. We are monitoring the actions of the Governor, School District, and Bishop of the East Central Synod of Wisconsin and will keep you informed of necessary responses on our part.
As of 3/16, the Quake Retreat is postponed and will mostly likely rescheduled. We will keep you informed as we receive information.
Food & Meals: We have also decided that anything having to do with food and/or meals will be suspended until the end of March when we will reevaluate for April. This includes but is not limited to: Sunday Morning Coffee Hour, Midweek Lenten Meals .
Worship Services: Sunday Worship Service is cancelled for March and April. We will celebrate Easter whenever we can. (Remember, Easter moves around the calendar every year…so we will celebrate the resurrection of Jesus as soon as we can!) Please understand this situation changes daily and we are doing our best to make good decisions and keep everyone safe and healthy.
Home Communion is suspended for the month of March and April. Those providing home communion service should still maintain contact with their homebound members via phone or written note. Please make sure they know we are thinking of them at this time.
Adult Classes & Activities: The decisions about whether to hold the various groups and classes for adults will be handled by the leaders and participants. Wired Word is holding class via Zoom Conference Call – on computer or phone…Please notify email@example.com if you would like to be added to the list and join us.
Likewise, other groups that use the building will be making their own decisions about whether to meet or not. Circles and small groups can make their own decisions, but must follow safety protocols.
Watch for Further Updates: As you all know, this is a fluid and evolving situation and there is a lot of anxiety and concern for what it all means and when it might end. Remember that our prayers change thing, so remember when life is difficult pray hard and often!
GATHER GROW GO
We GATHER throughout the week as a community of God’s people in a welcoming and friendly environment to establish and nurture caring relationships.
We strive to GROW in our faith in many different ways, to learn and see how God is and can be present and active in our world and in each of our lives.
Then we GO into God’s world to live whole and joyous lives, and to serve God and God’s holy kingdom as followers of the way of Christ.
I invite you to come and experience God’s for you and for the world at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church!
